Ok, a wee bit about me so you know the background to my blog.I currently live the Wirral, which is the other side of the Mersey River to Liverpool in England (Yes, they do play “Ferry Cross the Mersey” on the ferry)
(this is the view by the lighthouse)
I am however Scottish, born and raised in Edinburgh and I hope to live there again as soon as I can convince my other half that it would be a good idea to move.
Stitching wise I like doing projects that generally have a use, eg pin cushions, needlecases, fobs etc but I do do framed pieces for special occasions like weddings and anniversaries. I’ve been looking a various different techiques as I hadn’t quite realised there were so many.
Other pleasures include reading, walking, cooking and red wine. Although any weekends that my other half has off we tend to go camping in various parts of the UK (although it’s usually Wales as he likes it there) or fulfilling his hobby… off roading in his landrover 90.
My OH got down on one knee and proposed on the 18th July 2007, on the banks of Loch Lomond lol
We were married on the 2nd February 2008, in Gullane (just out side Edinburgh), with just close friends and family. It was a very special day and we announced our news that we were expecting.
At 4.25pm on Friday 8th August 2008 our son was born, weighing in at a decent 8lb 9oz.
