An Announcement and SBQ – Pride and Joy

I’ve been a little behind this week with my stitching and blogging but I do have a good reason!

OH and went on a trip up to Scotland, touring the highlands and got eaten by midges. On Wednesday 18th July on the banks of Loch Lomond, my OH got down on one knee and proposed. If all goes to plan we will be getting married this winter.

We are going over to OH’s parents tonight to collect the cats, we haven’t told them yet so it’ll be a long evening! 🙂

This week’s SBQ was suggested by Me and is:

Which project (finished or in progress) are you most proud of? Explain why.

Faith is definitely the piece I’m most proud of. The reason being it was my first hardanger piece. There maybe bits of it that aren’t stitched 100% right but has definitly given me the confidence to try different techniques and larger harder projects
