This week’s question was suggested by Kathryn:
How many needles do you use during a project? Have you ever loaded up a needle for every color? Do you use a new needle for every project or recycle your favorite needle?
I usually use one needle, as sad as it may sound I get attached to the one I’m using. I only use more than one if the piece I’m stitching needs perles or braid thread or beads or if I lose or break my needle. If I lose my needle I won’t rest until I find it (with two cats in the house and the fact I never wear shoes indoors… I don’t want any accidents)
I’ve never loaded up needles but I’d rather only have to account for one needle.

I will be on my hols somewhere in Europe over the next couple of weeks I’m being collected from work in half an hour then we’re heading off!!! yippeee
Loose needles can be a bad thing. My son stepped on one and it went all the way into his heel bone.
Have fun in Europe:)
I’m with you… I only want to account for one needle and if I lose it, I go on a quest until it’s found.
I totally understand getting attached to a particular needle. I STILL miss the one I lost and couldn’t fine. Like you, I search and search, but I finally had to admit, this one probably wasn’t in the house and was gone for good.
Have a great vacation!
