Monday Feeling

Well there’s only a week and a half to go of January. I’ve been working away at my stitching, with regular interuptions (OH on holiday, OH painting the flat etc see the pattern).

Unfortunately working on exchange pieces leads to a very boring blog, as I can’t post pictures of the progress or the finish… but I have finished my valentine’s exchange piece, which is now all ready to post next Monday and I have started my Biscornu for the RN exchange :)
Talking of Biscornu I have up dated the freebie Links page, there will be more to be added in the next day or so, as I’ve found a whole load more over the weekend.

The Heirloom Christmas SAL is coming along nicely,  but has been delayed again!! because Alfie chewed some metallic thread so I’m having to to get some more, I’m weighing up the option of starting the cutting before I have completed the stitching in metallic… I’m thinking I’ll wait… it isn’t as though I haven’t got other things to do!

Like the Au Fil des Rêves -  scissor case and my January ornament.

Oh and the Met Office have issued severe weather warnings for much of the UK today. They say there is a possibilty of rain, snow, sleet, hail and ice! In other words they really have no idea just what we are going to get! At the moment we have sunshine and blue skies! lol

Working on exchanges does make for boring blogging. I’m in the same boat!
